Fundamentalists, grrrrr.

Sorry…it’s been awhile since I updated this. I have so much free time these days, I have no idea how to use it. Heh.
So I’ve got the whole customized Google homepage, and one of the panels that I’ve selected is for NPR-recommended books. One of them caught my eye today. It [...]

Diving like a Kiwi

So I was looking around to see what there is to do in Wellington, since I will probably be required to hang around the city for a lot of my weekends. Turns out there’s a good bit of diving around there. In fact, just last month they sank a big frigate right off the coast. [...]

What did people do before the internet was invented?

So I’ve done a little reformatting of my blog. I’m planning on using it to keep people informed of my welfare while I’m abroad (days until departure: 8!). Hopefully I’ll be able to post pictures and what-not. We’ll see how it goes.
Hopefully all two of you that read this (at the moment) had a good [...]

Maybe I can work it out to do both…

Graduated, baby!

Ladies and gentlemen, I have officially earned a Master’s of Science in Applied Biology.
I am now going to sleep for about a week straight.

D-day Approaches

8 days until D-day (Defense Day). I’m right on the cusp of losing my mind. I hope I can hang on to it until next week, because I will definitely need it then. I’ve not been sleeping lately, so I’m really starting to look like someone who is going to defend her [...]
